Phenotypic and genotypic study of some virulence factors for main bacteria which caused to UPEC

The study was aim to isolating and identification of bacteria from urinary tract infection. present includes 240 samples collected patients suffering infection during the period extended September 2021 December (female male ). From specimens 160 (66.6%) were females 80 (33.3 %) males .Out total only 195 (81.3%) showed significant bacterial growth ,135(69.2%) female 60 (30.7%) specimens. result our found that many species are responsible for causes , they have been included 9 most common pathogen Escherichia coli 85 (43.5%) Klepsiella pneumonia 32 (16.4%) ,Enterobacter19(9.7%), S. aureus 20(10.2%) sarophyticus 10 (5.1%) Proteus mirabilis (4.6%), Pseudomonas aeruginosa Citrobacter koseri 9(4.6%) Salmonella typhi 2 (1%). In this study, some virulence factor detected by phenotypic methods while others then genotypically using PCR techniques. phenotepic investigated include biofilm formation, capsule produced, hemolysis enzymes which protease, DNase, gelatinase.
